All IP Cases to be transferred to the New IP Courts

Intellectual Property Courts have been established in different cities across Pakistan

Sections 16 to 19 of the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan Act 2012, envisioned special courts to handle all IP matters in order to enhance IP Protection and support IP owners.

Since the rectification of IPO Act, the organization has been working on the matter, which requires considerable challenges, considering the large number of IP Cases already pending before the courts.

The IPO has now finalized the arrangements required for this task and IP courts have become operational.
